You can't deny laughter :

when it comes,

it plops down in your favorite chair and

stays as long as it wants.

JUST A THOUGHT

“Love is the will to extend one’s self for the purpose of

nurturing one’s own or another’s spiritual growth.”

~ Scott Peck, The Road Less Traveled

LOVE WITH WISDOM

Love with Wisdom is the capacity to nurture, comfort, support, and love ourselves in equal proportion to how we nurture, comfort, support, and love others.

“It is a reminder that when we approach life from an attitude of love combined with wisdom, we will resist the need to over-give or push to make things happen emotionally: nor will we protect, or hold ourselves back emotionally.” Angeles Arrien, Cross Cultural Anthropologist.

This creates a balanced, trusting heart. This is Self-Love, Self-Respect, and Self-Honoring. This is Love with Wisdom.

A major challenge toward expressing Love with Wisdom is sorrow held in the mind that reworks old wounds tied with the past or unexpected sorrows in our lives. Sorrow is often a result of having abandoned ourselves, or not communicated our feelings accurately, or been unclear about where and with whom our priorities and commitments lie. If we become clear in our priorities with integrity and honesty, we live Love with Wisdom.

JUST ANOTHER THOUGHT

COMMUNICATION

Communication can be interesting, enjoyable, or sometimes surprising.

it is similar to creating and serving an entree.

1. Content: the thoughts, ideas, feelings, emotions, etc. to be expressed - gathering the ingredients for the entree.

2. context: Linguistically how our content is put together - the methods of combining the ingredients.

3. timing: the moment we decide to communicate - the moment we serve the entree.

4. Placement: How we present the communication - the garnish and presentation of the entree.

When we have clear communication, the content, context, timing, and placement are well delivered and well received. The recipient listens, hears and understands what is being said whether in agreement or not.

When we have blunt communication, the content and context are clearly delivered, but the timing and placement have much to be desired. Similar to the surprise we’d have if receiving a pie in the face without knowing it’s coming.

Confused communication is right timing and placement, but poor content and context. We show up ready to listen but when the talking is done we walk away shaking our head and wondering if we missed the point or, whether the person really knew what they meant to say.

So take a moment to observe how we are presenting our entree

and the response to it......it may be an eye opener.....

Try this………it just might surprise you………..

Compassionate communication expressing how we are and what we would like…….

From marshall Rosenberg’s compassionate (non-violent communication)

1.Think of someone or a situation that makes life less than wonderful…….

“When you do (explain the less than wonderful thing), I feel……..…

(Instead of I feel “that” you………. use feeling words for ex: apprehensive, frustrated, anxious, indifferent, etc)”

“Because I was hoping or would have liked…….”

2. Express your reasons for your feelings around this situation…..

“When you do what I described, I feel……… (the feeling words from above) because I need…….”

3. In relation to the other persons actions, your feelings and needs…….

“In relation to what you did and my feelings and needs in relation to what you did, I would like you to……..”

The purpose here is for “clear communication” not to make the other person choose what you want…..that is their choice……

4. Getting clarity as to whether you have been clearly heard……

“Would you be willing to reiterate what I just said so that I know I have expressed myself accurately and you have heard me……”

Compassionate communication has been and still is a miraculous experience for me……you might want to try it........it might change your life……

AND JUST ONE MORE THOUGHT

BIOMAGNETISM AND ENERGY-MEDICINE

Dr. Bruce H. Lipton, Ph.D. © 2001

It is well established that the function and metabolism of the human body is an electrochemical system. Modern medicine is preoccupied with studying, analyzing and treating mainly the chemical side of the equation. For the most part, the electrical half of human systems has been completely ignored. Physicians use several of the body's electrical systems for diagnosis (e.g., EKG, EEG, EMG and MEGs), though even fewer uses of the electromagnetics are found for therapeutics (e.g., cardiac pacemakers, defibrillators, TENs devices, bone healing instruments).

Physiology reveals that most of the body's natural chemicals are released by an electrical signal or an electrochemical reaction. Can these same chemicals be released by applying an external electrical signal? Can different EM parameters stimulate different chemical systems?

Simply stated, can externally applied bioelectromagnetic fields influence cell and organismal behavior and expression? The answer is a clear, resounding, and unequivocal, YES! Electromagnetic energy fields, which include energies in the ranges of microwaves, radio-frequencies, the visible light spectrum, ELF and even acoustic frequencies, have been shown to profoundly impact every facet of biological regulation. Specific frequencies and patterns of electromagnetic radiation regulate: cell division; gene regulation; DNA, RNA and protein syntheses; protein conformation and function; morphogenesis; regeneration; and nerve conduction and growth.

If electromagnetic fields can affect enzymes and cells, there is no reason of principle why one should not expect to be able to tailor a waveform as a therapeutic agent in much the same way as one now modulates chemical structures to obtain pharmacological selectivity. The high specificity of electromagnetic signals may result in the "direct targeting" of activity, without many of the side-effects common to pharmaceutical substances.
